Groundwater sensor installation at Villa Verde, Nueva Vizcaya.

On July 29, 2025, SWIM Project 1 travelled to Villa Verde, Nueva Vizcaya to install the 10th monitoring station. The team is represented by engr. Kathleen Palma, engr. Wilfredo Bose and engr. Bermiel Allen U. Tuppil. They were welcomed by Ms. Vivien Joy m. Velasco, Planning Assistant at the Municipal Office and then proceeded to the Municipal Planning and Development Office. They discussed the objectives and technical aspects of the monitoring station with Alexander S. Urban, the designated Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office  of Delfin Albano, Isabela, afterwards, the ISU technical staffs and LGU staffs proceed at the installation site. The team assembled and installed all system components, including the battery, solar panel, sensors, wiring, and protective housing. Each part was carefully connected to ensure the system operated smoothly and efficiently. As part of the process, the SWIM team also trained local personnel on how to restart the instrument in case of a power outage. Once installation was complete, they conducted a thorough inspection to confirm that everything was functioning as intended.
