Sensor Installation at Isabela State University Angadanan Campus

On August 12, 2025 SWIM Project 1 represented by engr. Kathleen Palma, engr. Wilfredo Bose, and engr. Bermiel Allen Tuppil traveled to the municipality of Angadanan to install the 11th groundwater monitoring sensor of the project. The installation site took place inside the ISU Angandanan Campus, the team are accompanied by mr. Ronie Mitra, the General Service Office Director and his staffs. At the site, they set up and installed all parts of the system, including the battery, solar panel, sensors, wiring, and protective housing. Each element was connected with care to guarantee smooth and efficient operation. During the installation, the SWIM team also provided a short training session for local staff on restarting the system in the event of a power outage. Once the setup was complete, a final inspection was performed to confirm that all components were working correctly.
